Integrating consumers to make IoT SC more "sustainable

The spectacular growth in connectivity and the Internet of Things (IoT) has increased demand for rare metals, but their extraction, refining and production are not without consequences for the environment. Customers and consumers, meanwhile, are increasingly concerned about 'sustainability' and want to make their voice heard by companies operating in the IoT sector. These two observations have led us to ask how companies in the IoT and nanotechnology sector are integrating their customers into their supply chain (SC) to meet the sustainability challenges they face. During this seminar, we propose to discuss this question and provide food for thought based on research carried out as part of a research project.

For a speech entitled :

Management of information sharing by the players in the distribution channel :
the choice of a coherent methodology.

The aim of this doctoral work is to answer the following central research question: "How do distribution channel players manage information sharing over time? After conducting a literature review on the subject of information sharing in distribution channels, 6 theoretical propositions were constructed "in the form of proposed answers to the question" (Quivy & van Campenhoudt, 2006). We are now looking at our methodological approach before going into the field in the coming months.
