Master's Degree in Engineering - CMI
The Master's Degree in Engineering is a selective 5-year programme of excellence, consisting of a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree enriched with courses focusing on project management, a professional approach, situational activities, and immersion in research associated with innovation.
At Avignon University, they are offered in 6 fields. These courses lead to engineering and/or management positions, as well as for further study at doctoral level.
In addition to the national Bachelor's and Master's degrees, a CMI leads to the award of a University Diploma and the national label of network FIGURE.

The four MIFs offered in the field of Science are
- CMI Water Resources and Environment (R2E)
- CMI Food Production Engineer (IPA)
- CMI Plant Production Engineering (IPV)
- CMI Computer Engineering (II)
Two MIFs are offered in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences:
- CMI Engineering for the Sustainability of Territories (IDT)
- CMI History and Multimedia Engineering (IHM)
The strengths of the Master's Degree in Engineering :
- A coherent 5-year reinforced Bachelor's and Master's programme leading to engineering positions;
- Technical and research projects throughout the course;
- A progressive and demanding university education leading to a national label and a university degree;
- A course built on the international "Master of Engineering" model;
- At least one international mobility (semester or internship) and internships in companies and research laboratories;
- A professional training programme supported by major research centres (INRAE, UMR ESPACE 7300 of the CNRS, etc.).
