Activities

The Maison de l'International is composed of the International Relations Department (SRI) and the Language Department (SDL).

The international policy of Avignon University, whose orientation is defined by the decision-making bodies (Presidency and Councils), is implemented by the Maison de l'International.

This department is responsible for the management of international exchange programmes, the teaching of French as a foreign language and international communication.

The House of International :

  • organises the reception, integration and information necessary for the arrival of foreign students within the framework of institutional agreements as well as their training in the French language
  • is a platform for information, registration and the preparation of applications for financial aid for French students wishing to study or work abroad
  • constitutes and organises the circulation of information useful to the university community (students, administrative staff, teachers-researchers)

Throughout the year, the SDL welcomes foreign students and teachers who wish to follow courses in French language and culture or to participate in pedagogical internships.

The courses are taught by highly qualified teachers, under the scientific supervision of teacher-researchers specialised in the didactics of French as a foreign language.

The SDL is an approved testing centre for the DELF and DALF diplomas, as well as for the TCF-DAP.
