Master's degree in engineering - CMI
The Master's Degree in Engineering is a selective 5-year programme of excellence, comprising a bachelor's degree and a master's enriched with courses focusing on project management, a professional approach, real-life activities and immersion in research associated with innovation.
At Avignon University, they are offered in 6 fields. These courses lead to engineering and/or management positions, and doctoral studies.
In addition to the national Bachelor's and Master's degrees, a CMI leads to a University Diploma and the national label of network FIGURE.

The four CMIs offered in the Sciences field are :
- CMI Water Resources and Environment (R2E)
- CMI Food Production Engineer (IPA)
- CMI Plant Production Engineering (IPV)
- CMI Computer Engineering (II)
Two CMIs are offered in the Humanities and Social Sciences:
- CMI Engineering for the Sustainability of Territories (IDT)
- CMI History and Multimedia Engineering (IHM)
The strengths of the Engineering Masters courses :
- A coherent 5-year bachelor's and master's programme, leading to engineering positions;
- Technical and research projects throughout the course;
- A progressive and demanding university education leading to a national label and a university diploma;
- A course based on the international "Master of Engineering" model;
- At least one international mobility placement (semester or work placement) and placements in companies and research laboratories;
- A professional training programme backed by major research centres (INRAE, UMR ESPACE 7300 of the CNRS, etc.).
