Health Access Option Licences (LAS)

Following the reform of health studies, new arrangements for access to health studies are being put in place.
One of these admission routes is the Licence avec Option Accès Santé (L.AS), which consists of :

- a major in a discipline other than health, taken at Avignon University.
- a health minor in the form of distance learning offered by the Faculty of Medicine at Aix-Marseille University, accessible via the AMETICE teaching platform (free registration)

The bachelor's degrees with health access option (LAS) offered at Avignon University are :

- L1 Law with health access option - capacity: 40 places
- L1 Computer Science with health access option - capacity: 20 places
- L1 Life sciences, health access option - capacity: 20 places
- L1 STAPS health access option - capacity: 20 places

- L2 Law with health access option
- L2 Life sciences health access option
- L2 STAPS Adapted physical activity health health access option
- L2 STAPS Education and motor skills health access option

Applications for health studies can be made at the end of the 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd year of a bachelor's degree (maximum 2 applications).

How do I get into a 1st year L.AS?

Access to training courses is via Parcoursup platform.

Contents of the health minor for LAS 1

- The health minor is taken as distance learning: courses are available online and can be accessed at any time on the Aix-Marseille Université AMETICE platform (free registration)

- The health minor represents 10 ECTS of distance learning in the form of 80 hours of classes enabling L.AS students to acquire the minimum knowledge needed to adapt to a 2nd year of health studies.

- A discussion forum on the AMETICE educational platform allows LAS students to put their questions to Aix-Marseille University lecturers, while maintaining fairness, as the forum is open to all. No direct interaction between a student and a lecturer without using the forum is permitted. Students are advised to check their university e-mail accounts regularly (Université de Toulon and Aix-Marseille Université).
