[SFTLV testimonial] Charles SALAMÉ
The French education system has given me the chance to validate my acquired experience. It's a personal challenge that I've taken up to achieve what life circumstances haven't allowed me to do in a timely fashion since my early youth.
My professional experience in radio, television and journalism, as well as my studies and training, have given me a great deal of experience and appreciation. I've had several opportunities to move up the career ladder. But the lack of a master's degree or higher deprived me of several exceptional opportunities.
I knew that if my professional experience wasn't integrated and crowned with a diploma, it wouldn't stand the test of time or the demands of the job.
At the Université d'Avignon, I found all the information and details I really needed to undertake the process of validating my experience.
From the first contact with the VAE department at the Université d'Avignon, right through to obtaining the Master's degree, the follow-up, the support, the advice, the rapid responses and correspondence, as well as the responsiveness, the encouragement and the seriousness, all contributed to achieving the great challenge of returning to study, research and documentation, with the intention of succeeding and obtaining a university degree, the "Master".
Once completed, the validation of my prior learning touched on the intellectual and social dimensions of my life. It was the link that connected my professional experience to a better professional future.
Validating my experience has given my life a sense of evolution and change. It has given me a greater sense of personal satisfaction and security.
Now, the validation of my professional experience has become an additional springboard for another training and research project, given that I am still hoping to achieve a final objective, which is the preparation of a doctoral thesis related to my professional experience. The title of this thesis will be: "L'erreur de Télévisionner la Radio et Radiophoniser la Télévision".
