Supported by the LIAvignon chair and the Avignon Computing Laboratory (LIA)The fifth edition of the Artificial Intelligence Festival includes workshops, meetings and conference-debates led by researchers and experts on the subject of "AI and Health".
As recent advances in generative AI open up new perspectives in the field of healthcare, we will be looking at the crucial issues they raise. How are these technologies transforming the field of medicine, improving diagnosis and patient care, and what are their limitations?
We will also look at the specific field of mental health, where AI can offer innovative tools for supporting and accompanying patients. However, this development is not without risk: it is essential to consider ethical issues, data protection and the potential for dehumanising care.
Experts, practitioners, researchers, manufacturers and users of these technologies will be sharing their views and reflections on the opportunities and threats of AI in healthcare.
