#Erasmus Days - 4 days to rock Europe!

The Maison de l'international is organising a number of events as part of Erasmus Days. These days are an excellent way of promoting the Erasmus+ programme, which enables students to discover new cultures, strengthen their language and intercultural skills, develop their employability and embrace the European values of tolerance, respect and diversity.

Information Erasmus teaching mobility for researchers, teachers and lecturers

Tuesday 10 October from 11.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesday 11 October from 4 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.

Objective
To present Erasmus teaching mobility to researchers, teachers and lecturers at Avignon Université, the application process, the lump sum allocated by the Erasmus programme and the positive impact of mobility for those concerned and for the institution.

Teaching mobility
The aim of the Erasmus programme is to enable all professionals to give courses or training abroad as part of their professional development:

- to share their expertise;
- discover new teaching environments;
- acquire new and innovative skills in teaching and curriculum design, as well as digital skills;
- make contact with their counterparts abroad to set up joint activities to achieve the objectives of the programme;
- exchange best practice and strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions;
- better prepare students for the world of work.

Erasmus mobility information for BIATSS staff

Wednesday 11 October from 10.00 to 12.30 / Cloister

Objective
Introduce BIATSS staff to Erasmus training mobility, the application process, the lump sum allocated by the Erasmus programme and the positive impact of mobility for the individual concerned and for the institution.

Training mobility
This is a period of training abroad at a partner higher education institution. The period of training abroad enables any member of staff at a higher education institution to take part in a training activity abroad that is relevant to the participant's day-to-day work at his or her higher education institution. This experience may take the form of training sessions or periods of observation in a work situation.
