Eiffel scholarships

The Eiffel scholarship programme has been developed by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs to offer Master's and PhD degree courses for the best foreign students.

It is designed to train future foreign decision-makers in the private and public sectors in priority areas of study, and to encourage applications from foreign students aged 27 or under for Masters courses and 32 or under for PhD courses.

Application procedure

Application procedure - ONLY FULL APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED

• Contact the "Espace Campus France" in your country of origin or the cooperation and cultural action department of the French embassy, which will be able to give you guidance and advice on your study project.;
• Identify a course offered at Avignon University before contacting the International Relations Department, on our website under Courses. Only the best students, the top of the class with an excellent average, will have their applications considered..
• To apply, please send us :
• Detailed CV, 1 to 2 pages
• Proof of language level
• Career plan (1 to 2 pages, explanation of the choice of studies in France in relation to previous studies and future professional career)
• Diplomas (translated into French if necessary) and ranking
• Transcripts for the last 3 years of study (translated into French if necessary)
• Letters of recommendation (optional, but recommended)
• Passport
• Once the application is complete, we will check with the Master's supervisor whether he or she accepts and supports your application for the Eiffel scholarship.
• FOR DOCTORATES consult the RESEARCH section of our website, and contact the laboratory corresponding to your field to discuss the possibility of enrolling for a thesis.

The Eiffel Scholarship is a scholarship of excellence, and only candidates with a proven track record of excellence are likely to be eligible to apply.

2025 session timetable

The deadline for applications to the Université d'Avignon is 6 December 2024.

The winners will be announced by e-mail. the first week of April 2025.
