On 1ᵉʳ February 2024, the first Midiscience of the year will take place, presented by Julie Deramond and Pauline Grison.
As part of the European Olive4ALL project, researchers from the France team - including a large number from Avignon University - have put together an exhibition designed to raise public awareness of the value of the olive tree's heritage: l'Olivier, notre arbre (The Olive Tree, Our Tree). We would first like to briefly present the scientific project and the way in which we created this exhibition, and its specificity as a 'researchers' exhibition, intended to serve as a means of mediation and even, more specifically, of popularising science.
Pauline Grison has been a part-time Associate Lecturer (MAST) at Avignon University since September 2020 and is a member of the Centre Norbert Elias (UMR 5862). She has a PhD in information and communication sciences, and her research focuses mainly on the exhibition of sensitive scientific and technical issues, and on the interpretation of these issues.
