The formal representation of language, discourse markers, managing argumentation in discourse. Exchanges between enunciative analysis and quantitative corpus analysis.

Biography

Biography : Graham Ranger has been a lecturer at the University of Avignon since 1993, and mainly teaches courses in linguistics (enunciation, corpora, varieties), and translation, in L3, Masters and preparation for competitive examinations (MEEF and Agrégation interne). His research focuses on the formal representation of language, drawing on both Antoine Culioli's theory of predicative and enunciative operations and, more recently, quantitative data from corpus linguistics research.
