Biography
Senior lecturer since September 1994Research work
Historically, my research work began with the study of problems related to Automatic Speech Processing. It was in this context that, after completing my DEA, I became interested in the integration of linguistic knowledge into continuous speech recognition systems. Since 1995, my work has been based on the stochastic approach to Automatic Natural Language Processing and the acquisition and integration of explicit knowledge in such systems. At the same time, while supervising DEA, DRT and PhD students, as well as on specific research contracts, I have had the opportunity to tackle related problems such as the inversion of articulatory models or lexical formalisation. All the work that I have carried out, or in which I have participated for the stochastic modelling part. As a result of my involvement in ICTe and in the administration of my school, my research changed framework to focus on ICTe and educational sciences. After an initial publication in 2006 on the deployment of an e-learning system for the c2i, which addressed the impact of digital technology on teaching and learning, I gradually turned my research towards the study of active teaching approaches in higher education and their influence on student success, which is now my main subject of study.Mis à jour le 24 September 2024
