The Legal, Political, Economic and Management Sciences Laboratory is pleased to welcome to its 2023-2024 research seminar :
Christèle Lagier - Senior Lecturer in Political Science - JPEG UPR 3788
As part of this session, Christèle Lagier will give an update on the progress of her HDR work on the conditions that make interdisciplinary research possible.
Taking itself as a 'case study' and on the basis of an interview survey with teacher-researchers from different disciplines covering the fields of social sciences, experimental sciences and model sciences, it examines what interdisciplinarity does to scientific practices.
Between the injunctions marking out contemporary public research by project, localised institutional constraints and scientific habitus, she engages in a reflection on the transformations of the profession of teacher-researcher, the new forms of division of scientific work and the conditions of felicity of an interdisciplinary epistemological dialogue.
The discussion will be led by :
Magali NonjonHDR lecturer in political science (Mesopolis-SciencesPo Aix)
&
Déborah NourritHDR lecturer in STAPS (Epsylon-Université de Montpellier 3)
The session will take place on Thursday 7 December 2023 at 2pm in room 1W48 (Avignon University, Hannah Arendt campus).
