RAICES Festival from 9 to 11 April

The Raíces Festival will be held at the University of Avignon from 9 to 11 April 2024.
Organised by the student association CAL (Collectif d'Action Latino-Américain), this event will highlight the richness and diversity of Colombian and Mexican culture and, through a rich programme, invite you to question some preconceived ideas about Latin American cultures.
PROGRAMME
From 9 to 11 April Photo exhibition "Easy money on the peasant economy of the Coca leaf in Colombia, in the hall of the south building (opposite the cafeteria).

- Documentary screening and talk by Diego Lagos, photographer and researcher, BU research room at 3.30pm.
10 April 2024
- Theme meal at the University Restaurant: Latin American cuisine and music from 11.30am to 1.30pm.
- Caribbean Cumbia concert by the Santo Cuero group at 12.30pm in the North Hall.
- Mexican play "El Árbol" by Elena Garro at the Labo de théâtre (Room 0W33) at 5.30pm.
11 April 2024
- Cumbia dance performance and Mexican concert at 12.30pm in the North Hall.
Jean-Henri Fabre Campus
- 11 April 2024 - Salsa workshop at the Résidence Jean Zay Agroparc at 6pm.
