AI Festival, Avignon, 13 November 2025 - Conferences - Round table - Networking
Do AIs dream of artificial sheep? Towards more human AI, really?
Voice assistants that respond to us naturally, conversational agents capable of simulating emotions, robots with almost familiar behaviour patterns: artificial intelligence no longer simply imitates our skills, it is increasingly tending to reproduce our ways of acting, speaking and even feeling. This anthropomorphisation may be seductive, but it raises fundamental questions.
What do we really want from these technologies? At what point do they cease to be mere tools and become partners in interaction? And what are the risks of confusing the human with the artificial?
