HSTE research seminar: «Dialoguing with nature's archives: the history of pollution in the Rhône through the prism of sediment cores», with Brice Mourier

The next seminar session «Dialoguing with nature's archives: the history of pollution in the Rhône through the prism of sediment cores».» will take place on Thursday 12 February from 3pm to 5pm, on the Hannah Arendt campus, room 1E09.
We will receive Brice Mourier, a researcher in environmental sedimentology at the ENTPE, LEHNA laboratory, University of Lyon, and co-director of the Observatoire Hommes Milieux Vallée du Rhône.
Based on the presentation of the research report «Tendances temporelles des contaminations, historique des flux et estimation des stocks (approches MES vs cores), [ENTPE; INRAE; CNRS. 2021], the seminar session will look at whether and how sedimentology, geochemistry and the social and historical sciences can work together on contamination phenomena.
The link to the distance learning seminar will be provided at the time of registration.
