Archaeology and history of the Roman and Late Roman world (4th-7th centuries), gardens in Antiquity, domestic architecture, archives and the history of archaeology. Research activities Experience and management of archaeological digs
- 1985, 1989 and 1990: Participates in the excavations at Mirebeau, camp of the 8th August Legion (Burgundy) under the direction of M. Reddé.
- 1986-1987: excavations at the Villa du Palat in Saint-Emilion, under the direction of C. Balmelle, director of research at the CNRS.
- 1993-1994-1995: French archaeological mission in Haïdra (Tunisia), with F. Baratte, C. Metzger, J.-Cl. Golvin: excavations and surveys of the Citadel church.
- 2001: excavations at Caumont-sur-Durance (84): ornamental pool in the villa garden, late thermal baths.
- 2002-2004: Franco-Croatian archaeological mission in Salone (Croatia) - on the episcopal group and its courtyard with a water-lifting machine.
- June 2006, archaeological mission to Tell Yanouh (Upper Nahr Ibrahim Valley, Lebanon) led by Jean-Yves Monchambert, Paris IV-Sorbonne. Results published in J.-Y. Monchambert et alii "Une campagne de sondages sur le tell Kharayeb à Yanouh (printemps 2006)", BAAL, 12, p. 35-147.
- 2008-2010: co-director of the French Archaeological Mission in Paphos, with Claire Balandier, lecturer in ancient history at the University of Avignon and the Department of Antiquities of Cyprus.

- 1989 to 1993: Lecturer and Temporary Teaching and Research Associate at the University of Paris IV-Sorbonne - lectures at the Institute of Art and Archaeology.
- 1994-1995: Temporary Teaching and Research Assistant in History and Archaeology at the University of Toulouse II le Mirail.
- Since 1999: Lecturer in Ancient History at the University of Avignon. H Cl. since 2012.
- From 1992 to 2002: lecturer at the Ecole du Louvre - 1st year General History of Art course in Etruscan and Roman archaeology: adjunct course in Christian archaeology (1992-93, 1996-98; 2001-2002).
