As part of Environment Week, the following events are being organised 28 March a Midisicence hosted by Iñaki Garcia de Cortazar AtauriResearch Engineer, Director of INRAE's AgroClim service unit, on the theme :
Agriculture is particularly sensitive to climate change: heat waves, periods of drought, intense rainfall, risk of frost, etc. The aim of the presentation is to take stock of the effects already observed, expected developments and to provide elements for discussion on adaptation strategies and agriculture's contribution to mitigating climate change.
Iñaki Garcia de Cortazar Atauri is a Research Engineer and Director of INRAE's AgroClim Service Unit, in charge of climate change impact studies.
In particular, he is working on the observation, evolution and modelling of phenology in agroecosystems (TEMPO network).
