Components
The components of Avignon Université changed in spring 2024 to strengthen the links between university education and research. This new organisation aims to go beyond the strictly disciplinary framework and fully integrate the university's activities into its two areas of differentiation.
In this context, the former training and research units (UFR) have been replaced by two university institutes: Institute of Agrosciences, Environment and Health and Institute for Culture, Heritage and Digital Societies.
Designed to be consistent with the university's scientific and research project, these institutes provide a clearer organisation of the education and research offering. They respond as follows more effectively to the needs of the university community.
They respond more effectively to the needs and expectations of the university community, by promoting close links between higher education, research and innovation.
