Day against gender-based and sexual violence: the challenges of restorative justice

Avignon Université is organising a day dedicated to restorative justice as part of the Equality Weeks. By highlighting this approach, the event aims to raise awareness of gender-based and sexual violence and present the reporting and support mechanisms available to students and staff.


The programme

9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Information stands on inclusion and the fight for equal rights run by AMAV, the Avignon Bar Association, the Centre d'information sur les droits des femmes et des familles (CIDFF), the Mouvement contre le racisme et pour l'amitié de Vaucluse (MRAP), the Planning familial, and the associations Rhéso, Manoléta, Mouvement du Nid and Avignon Licra.

17h Screening of a film on restorative justice (2 hours)

7.15pm - 8.30pm Round table discussion on restorative justice moderated by Alice Mornet, lecturer in law, Avignon University - in the presence of
- Lina Mourad, lawyer
- Candice Del Degan, Deputy Director of the Association for Mediation and Assistance to Victims (AMAV)
- Mathilde Ollitrault, Cinéfils et Filles association.
