Research topics

My research themes are focused on the effects of obesity, diabetes and metabolic syndrome on central cardiac and especially vascular functions at the macro- and microcirculatory level in relation to markers of inflammation and oxidative stress, in adults and children, and their adaptations following a hygienic-dietary approach (re-training and/or diet and/or dietary supplements).
