Research topics

My research focuses on the effects of obesity, diabetes and metabolic syndrome on central cardiac and especially vascular function at macro- and microcirculatory levels, in relation to markers of inflammation and oxidative stress, in adults and children, and their adaptations following hygienic-dietary treatment (re-training and/or diet and/or dietary supplements).
