Research topics

His research interests are in the field of information and communication technologies, with a particular focus on wireless ad hoc and sensor networks. His contributions have concerned security in ad hoc and vehicular networks, localisation in sensor networks and broadcasting in vehicular networks. He has previously contributed to the modelling and specification of communication protocols.

Biography

  • 2001-2009: Director of the Réseaux et Applications Multimédias (RAM) team at the Laboratoire d'Informatique d'Avignon (LIA)
  • 2002-2004: Head of DESS Networks at the University of Avignon
  • 2003-2007: elected member of the National University Council (CNU) for Computer Science
  • 2004-2006: Head of the Networks speciality in the IT Masters at the University of Avignon
  • 2004-2008: Chairman of the Computer Science Specialist Committee at the University of Avignon 2008: Promoted to the rank of IEEE Senior member
He has directed and supervised more than 30 master's and doctoral theses in France and other countries such as Canada and Morocco. He has sat on several thesis and HDR juries.
