Biography

Jimmy Merlet is a lecturer in economics at the University of Avignon, where he is responsible for the AES - Data and Society degree and a member of the Legal, Political, Economic and Management Sciences Laboratory (UPR 3788, JPEG). He defended his thesis at Rennes 1 on 2 July 2020. It was co-supervised by Thierry Pénard (professor) at the Centre de recherche en économie et management (CNRS, UMR6211 CREM) and Nicolas Poussing (researcher) at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER). He is a research associate at the CREM (Pôle Organisations, Réseaux, Numérique - ORN) and his research focuses mainly on the digital transformation of companies, innovation and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
