Avignon University is home to the Relais Culture Europe, which acts as the 'Creative Europe Office' in France, a flagship programme of the European Commission aimed at supporting the cultural and audiovisual sectors. Its mission is to support cultural practices in Europe through the development of projects, networks, cooperation and research.
The aim of this day is to provide teacher-researchers with practical information on how to set up a European consortium of research laboratories and cultural institutions (museums, heritage, performing arts, publishing, video games, 3D animation, etc.), with a view to understanding European priorities and acquiring the tools they need to draw up a European project as part of the forthcoming Calls for Proposals under the Creative Europe programme.
The "From European priorities to concrete projects" workshop (2 groups, registration required) run by the Relais Culture Europe team aims to provide a better understanding of the European Union's priorities, to put them into perspective with local needs and contexts, and to identify possible projects, partnerships and concrete impacts. It provides a forum for reflection and co-construction to transform European guidelines into appropriate and meaningful initiatives.
This day is organised by Avignon Université with the Relais Culture Europe (registration required). It will take place at the Villa Créative on 14 November 2025; cultural institutions from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region are welcome to attend.
A cultural network dating event will be organised prior to the event to bring together researchers, teacher-researchers, doctoral students, Villa Créative residents and cultural institutions in the PACA region.
