Parcoursup is the national platform for pre-registration for the first year of higher education in France.
The Parcoursup platform is used to apply for more than 25,000 higher education courses, most of which offer national or state-approved degrees.
As part of a single calendar, you can use a single file to :
- A rich and varied range of post-baccalaureate courses
- Find the information you need to choose a training establishment. For each course, you will find a course description with all the information you need to make your choice. You'll find all the essential information you need:
– the training identity card, This site allows you to check essential information at a glance: the status of the institution (public/private under contract with the State or without a contract with the State), whether the course is selective or non-selective, intake capacity, whether the course has been awarded the MESR label, whether it is eligible for grants, the number of places on offer, etc.
– the 6 sections of the training sheet, which give details of each training course The website contains a wide range of information: the educational content and the diploma prepared, practical information (tuition fees, CVEC, dates of open days, contacts for discussions with the school, etc.), application procedures, criteria for analysing applications, figures for access to the course, conditions for continuing studies and career opportunities, etc.
- Put together your application, which will then be sent to the courses you have selected, highlighting your motivation, interests, etc.
- Make your own wishes (without having to rank them) for the courses that interest you
- After your application has been examined by the courses, you will receive offers of admission and be able to choose the school where you will start your new academic year.
