WELCOME TO THE "CHOOSE US" PAGE OF THE THEATRE AND HERITAGE MASTER'S PROGRAMME AT AVIGNON UNIVERSITÉ!
The 'Theatre and Heritage: Texts, Theories and Representations' Masters course at the Université d'Avignon is a multi-disciplinary Masters course specialising in the study of European theatre from Antiquity to the 21st century. It focuses on the theatrical text, but also explores the transition to the stage and trans-generic relationships (theatre, novel, poetry).
A number of professionals from Avignon's theatrical cultural scene are involved in this university course.
It benefits from partnerships with theatre-related institutions:

A "promotion project" in M1 offers a trip to discover European stages. In 2018, the city visited was Berlin. In 2019, our students will set off to discover the stages of Athens!
