PUI Provence (Provence University Innovation Cluster)

The PUI Provence, Pôle Universitaire d'Innovation Provence, is a France 2030 project funded by the ANR (Agence Nationale de la Recherche) and Bpifrance, which aims on the one hand to make students and research staff more acculturated to innovation through new training pathways and on the other hand to structure business development forces towards companies in order to increase collaboration contracts, research contracts, income from technology platforms and the creation of companies. The objectives of PUI Provence 

  • Increasing the effectiveness of innovation support initiatives (partnership research, technology transfer, entrepreneurship) within the site
  • Accelerate the flow of innovation projects from research laboratories and improve the rate at which these projects are converted into innovation, in particular through the creation of Deeptech start-ups.

  • Accelerating and strengthening the site's potential to exploit research potential
  • Coordination of ecosystem players
  • Deployment of an action plan to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of actions already undertaken by the players involved and to maximise the site's potential for innovation.
