Scientific project

The Centre Norbert Elias brings together researchers from different disciplines (anthropology, history, information and communication sciences, sociology, linguistics, geography) who are convinced of the unity of the human and social sciences. The laboratory is based at the Vieille Charité in Marseille and on the Hannah Arendt campus at Avignon University. It brings together nearly 50 researchers, 35 doctoral students and a support team of a dozen people working on the analysis and description of social worlds.
