Internships abroad
The International Relations Department (SRI) of the Université d'Avignon is responsible for submitting your application to the scholarship award committee, once an internship agreement has been signed by all parties. A grant is not awarded automatically: the committee reserves the right not to select your application (on the basis of social criteria, the number of applications and available funding). The committee responsible for awarding grants for work placements abroad meets several times a year.
The Scholarships Committee will be responsible for examining applications from students who are going on a study or work placement mobility scheme for the year 2024-2025 (periods of study or work placement abroad taking place between August/September 2024 and August/September 2025).
If you are going on a mobility placement in 2024-2025, and you have a placement agreement signed by all partiesplease contact us at mobilite@univ-avignon.fr. We will then send you the link to fill in the application form.
Attention : mobility grants are not awarded systematically. The committee reserves the right not to select your application (on the basis of social criteria, the number of applications and available funding). If you are awarded a grant, it will not be paid until you have provided proof of arrival at your host university.

Applicants should contact the school where they are registered to obtain the authentication code needed to submit their application.
Once the application has been validated by the training establishment, the Region will check that it is correct. On receipt of the arrival form, a first instalment corresponding to 80% of the amount of the grant will be paid to you.
The second payment will be made on receipt of the end-of-course form sent by the student within a maximum of one month of the end of the course.
The supporting documents required to process the application must be attached directly and exclusively to the online application. Any request to modify and/or submit additional documents must be made via the secure messaging system accessible in the online application.
Internships in the UK
Since 1 January 2021, the United Kingdom has been applying a new immigration regime which reduces the scope of mobility across the Channel, particularly for young people. Indeed, no status is currently foreseen for students who wish to go to the United Kingdom in order to carry out an internship as part of their studies in France. The MESRI wishes to alert higher education institutions to the risk that the students concerned may be blocked when applying for a visa with the British authorities. The French authorities have taken steps to have this status recognised. The MESRI will keep institutions informed of developments.
