Exceptional financial assistance for students stranded abroad
As a result of the coronavirus crisis, 500 students from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region are currently stranded in the country where they were studying or doing a work placement.
Faced with this emergency situation, the Region and the Universities have decided to take action.
At the initiative of Renaud MUSELIER, President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region and President of Régions de France, Eric BERTON, President of Aix-Marseille University, Xavier LEROUX, President of Toulon University, Jeannick BRISWALTER, President of Côte d'Azur University, and Philippe ELLERKAMP, President of Avignon University, exceptional financial assistance will be granted to these students.
Each of them will benefit froman Emergency Fund of €500 for repatriation.
