Béatrice Tuccio-Larricella will be presenting a Midiscience event on 4 April 2024 on the theme of "Spin trapping: the hunt for free radicals".
"Highly reactive compounds, free radicals are notably involved in processes that can lead to pathological situations. Spin trapping coupled with EPR is an effective method for detecting these very short-lived species. Examples from the agri-food, biology and health sectors will be presented.
Béatrice Tuccio-Larricella is Professor of Chemistry at Aix Marseille University and a specialist in the detection of short-lived radical intermediates by EPR spectrometry.
