After taking stock of the geographical distribution of wild and cultivated plant biodiversity, the role of regional, national and international bodies in protecting it in situ and ex situ will be presented. The work carried out by botanical gardens, botanical conservatories and nature conservation organisations will be examined in more detail.
We are offering a series of short lectures on a wide variety of subjects (30 min presentation and 30 min discussion) aimed at the university community, the general public in Avignon and social and economic partners. The aim is to convey the essentials of a research topic and then, during a discussion, to share questions and thoughts on emerging knowledge.
