Avignon University is organising from 2 to 13 March 2026 Equality Weeks, in collaboration with student associations (Inter'Asso, SAJES, Queer'ious, Les Nuits des CinéFils&Filles, BDE ENSI), the École des Nouvelles Images and local anti-discrimination and VSS associations.

Exhibition on the reinstatement of the Veil Law

From 2 to 13 March - Maurice Agulhon University Library - Hannah Arendt Campus

The student association SAJES is setting up this exhibition in the aisles of the Maurice Agulhon University Library, containing texts, archive images and works relating to the Veil Law, to highlight the progress made and the issues at stake.

Stands on feminism and the fight against SGBV

Monday 2 March - In front of building B of the Institut AgES - Campus Jean-Henri Fabre - from 11am to 2.30pm
Thursday 5 March - Hall of the Bâtiment Nord - Campus Hannah Arendt - from 11 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.

Round table «The place of women in the social sciences».»

Tuesday 3 March - Room to be announced - Campus Hannah Arendt - 12 noon to 1 p.m.

The SAJES student association is organising a round table discussion on the role of women in the social sciences, with three speakers from the field:

  • Christèle Lagier, Lecturer in Political Science at Avignon University; ;
  • Jade Baty, former President of SAJES and student at Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University; ;

Creative Nocturne

Thursday 5 March - Villa Créative - 5.30pm to 11pm - by the École des Nouvelles Images and Avignon Université

This Night of Short Films features animated and cinema films, a gaming area where you can try out games created by students and a round table discussion on the role of women in the film industry. Free admission.

    Animation and traditional films by 3rd to 5th year students at the École des Nouvelles Images, as well as a selection of short films chosen by the student association Les Nuits des Cinéfils&filles and the ENSI BDE.

Thursday 5 March - Rouge Gorge - 10bis Place de l'Amirande - from 8pm

The student association SAJES is organising an evening with a DJ at the Rouge Gorge, and a raffle with all the proceeds going to a feminist association.

Conference on the inclusion of women in the world of work«

Friday 13 March - AT06 - Campus Hannah Arendt from 6pm to 7.30pm

Organised by students in the Management and Organisational Management degree course, this conference will bring together three speakers. Each of them will introduce herself and share her career path, addressing in particular the levers and challenges encountered in finding her place in the world of work. The conference will be followed by a time for discussion with the audience, followed by a convivial moment over a buffet.
