
11th edition of the JAE!
On Thursday 2 October, from 12 noon to midnight, come and celebrate the start of the new academic year and round off the month with a rich and varied programme of activities.
Color run on the banks of the Rhône at La Barthelasse, inflatable games, sports activities and games with student associations, meals provided by the City of Avignon, free concerts by the Atypik Festival and music all day long!
All Avignon students are invited to take part in this exceptional day.

12pm-2pm - campus Hannah Arendt - meal offered by the city of Avignon at the CROUS university restaurant (for the first 500 students)
2pm - start of the Pap'Express cultural walk to discover the town's landmarks and get you to the Barthelasse leisure centre
3pm - Barthelasse leisure centre (entrance next to the La Palmeraie swimming pool)
musicicale with DJ Bubu from 4pm to 8pm.
- Association stands - Find your student associations as well as many other organisations that will help you to get the most out of your studies.t Avignon (CPAM, Orizo, Crous Aix-Marseille Avignon, CPAM, AFEV, Logitude, Croix-Rouge, Les Entrep' Vaucluse, CIDFF, EFS, Association de prévention routière, Unicité, Planning familial / PAEJ, UNICEF, Latitudes, Roulons à Vélo, etc.) as well as various food aid services (AGORAé, corbeilles solidaires, supermarché solidaire) and the Avignon municipal mutual insurance company.
- Color Run - 4pm to 5.30pm: In teams of 5 and in relays, a 1.5km course awaits you. The finalists will face off in a tricky final round. Lots of prizes to be won (small electrical appliances, speakers, etc.)!
Registration on site on the day. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes!

8pm - Atypik Festival organised by Culture.com
16th edition of the association's Atypik Festival student Culture.com. A programme eclectic and festive:
- Agartha (group student winner of the Tremplin 2025, dirt rock),
- Nova Park (indie rock)
- Dijoké (DJ set).

How do I get to the Barthelasse Leisure Centre?
There are several ways to get to the Barthelasse Leisure Centre (the entrance is on the banks of the Rhône, next to the La Palmeraie swimming pool).
- 30 min (from the Hannah Arendt campus)
- 10 min (from Porte de l'Oulle)
- Bus routes P1 / 5 / 16 / 18 / 20 (Barthelasse stop)
- Vélopop' station on the Ile Piot and on-site bicycle garage
- free parking on the Ile Piot
Food and refreshments
- Foodtrucks on site (food and drink)
- Vegetarian picnic at 7pm and lunch at the CROUS university restaurant on the Hannah Arendt campus (500 meals for lunch and dinner)
- Good for the environment! Bring your water bottle during the day and come with your ecocup in the evening.
- Water points will be on the site.
- Encouraging mobilitys and car-sharing for your journeys!
