Business Units

Avignon University supports its researcher-entrepreneurs by offering them the opportunity to set up a business unit linked to their laboratory. The aim is to :
1. Structuring the service offering of a hypothetical future company
2. Test the market
3. Test the market in anticipation of future commercialisation (technology transfer)
4. Assess the potential and economic relevance of the future company
5. Benefit from the institution's support by mobilising some of the university's shared services (Maison de la Recherche, Communication Service, etc.).
Since 2020, Avignon University has been offering the services of the Business Units IG Balance (supported by the LAPEC) and is based on the 2015 recommendations of the International Consortium for Glycemic Index Measurement
