2 identities: Culture, Heritage & Digital Societies and Agro&Sciences

The Université d'Avignon has opted for a demanding scientific development policy based around two coherent research areas, in line with its institutional, academic and socio-economic environment.

It has 17 laboratories and research teams, 2 doctoral schools and develops its activities around two key areas: Agro&Sciences and Culture, Heritage, Digital Societies.

Two Research Federations support scientific activity in these areas. They bring together, around the University's laboratories, the major research organisations (INRA, CNRS, EHESS), competitiveness clusters and businesses to put research and innovation at the service of social and economic development.

The research carried out by the SFR linked to the Agro&Sciences field, called TersysThese projects concern all aspects of the production of plants and natural products. This federation is jointly supported by the University of Avignon and INRA PACA-Corse.

Research areas of the RF Agoranticlinked to the Culture, Heritage and Digital Societies theme, are at the crossroads between Man, Society and the Digital World.
