2025 cycling challenge prize-giving ceremony

News 1 July 2025

On Friday 6 June, in the technology hall of the IUT (Jean Henri Fabre campus), a friendly prize-giving ceremony was held for the "April May you cycle!" cycling challenge organised by the University from 21 April to 20 May.

Of course, there was room for improvement in the results for this challenge, but they were very positive, with 80 participants, including around twenty from INRAE, and 23425 km covered in one month!

Obviously, behind the word chalenge, there's a notion of competition, but we mustn't forget the stimulation. Everyone has a place in this challenge, the 'experienced' cyclists and the 'amateur' cyclists, and every kilometre counts.

In fact, there were a number of objectives: some wanted to get back on the bike, others wanted to step up their cycling, as the warmer weather arrived, and the most determined wanted to compete for first place.

This challenge will be repeated next year. If you have any comments, the organisers would be delighted to hear from you.
