"From theme park culture to theme park culture".

Johan Boittiaux, senior lecturer in information and communication sciences, will look at the development of theme parks in France.

Since the end of the 1980s, they have proliferated, using references to heritage culture to legitimise and enhance their activities. This seminar will explore their role in the enhancement of territories, local narratives and the challenges posed by the climate emergency.
