The decree of 18 May 2018 on the temporary suspension of studies in public institutions providing initial higher education training sets out the procedures for this period of suspension of studies, known as the "gap year".
The gap year is an optional period of up to one academic year during which a student enrolled in an initial higher education course temporarily and voluntarily suspends it in order to gain personal or professional experience in France or abroad.
If you wish to benefit from this scheme, you must read the university's charter on the gap year and follow the procedure indicated.
