15ᵉ European Restoration Ecology Congress: from 24 to 28 August 2026 in Brest.

From 24 to 28 August 2026, the 15ᵉ European Restoration Ecology Congress will be held in Brest.

«SERE 2026» is an international conference organised by the Université de Bretagne Occidentale under the aegis of the European chapter of the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER-Europe), in collaboration with the Réseau français de l'écologie de la restauration (REVER). SERE conferences are held in Europe every two years.
In the last week of August 2026, all those involved in the science, practice and policy of ecological restoration will be meeting in Brest, in France, to share their knowledge and discuss the future of nature restoration in Europe.

After organising the 10ᵉ edition in Avignon in 2010, Thierry Dutoit (DR CNRS IMBE - IUT) and Élise Buisson (Professor Avignon University IMBE - IUT), both members of the SFR TERSYS, are respectively co-chair of the organising committee and co-chair of the scientific advisory board.

This event will be an opportunity to share our experiences and highlight the expertise of Breton players in this field.
