University Bachelor of Technology, major: Marketing Techniques

Goals

The University Bachelor of Technology (BUT) Marketing Techniques (TC) allows:

  • to train students for versatile, autonomous and progressive sales positions
  • to accompany students on a real professionalizing university course
  • to prepare students for professional integration or further studies.
In six semesters, the Marketing Techniques program trains students in all areas of business. The targeted skills are broad.

Specificities

The specificity of the BUT is the emphasis on applications, the realization of internships and tutored projects during the 3 years and the support of the student for the realization of his personal professional project (PPP). Professional experience is developed through numerous professional situations (600 hours of projects and 22 weeks of internships)

Internships

Twelve week internship in 1st and 2nd year of the BUT

Fourteen week internship in the 3rd year of the BUT

The objective is to integrate into the company and to carry out a commercial mission using the knowledge acquired during the training.

Please note: some courses are only accessible after one or several steps of pre-selection and/or selection. Therefore, before registering, you must meet all the conditions for admission.

The training is versatile with a large volume of teaching in marketing, negotiation, commercial communication, e-marketing and various management subjects (accounting, strategy, customer relationship management, purchasing, logistics, entrepreneurship), economics and law. Students have a significant amount of teaching in English and must choose a second language among Spanish and Italian.

The teaching is provided by a teaching staff comprising professors, teachers and professionals.

In the second year, students choose one of the following courses:

  • Digital marketing, e-commerce and entrepreneurship
  • Marketing and management of the point of sale
  • Business development and customer management

The graduate of the BUT MT is able to analyze the context of a company, to elaborate a diagnosis of its situation, its strategy, to carry out a market study, to elaborate strategic orientations, to propose a marketing plan, to develop a sales argument, to integrate in a commercial team, to set up a prospecting plan, to master the data-processing and statistical tools to analyze the collected data, to master the communication techniques.
