Avignon Université and the ICTT research group are organising this year’s conference of the SEAC (Société d’études anglaises contemporaines). Affiliated to the SAES (Society of Higher Education Anglicists with more than 2300 members), the SEAC is specialised in the study of British art and literature of the 20th and 21st centuries. The conference, bringing together French and international scholars, will be devoted to the study of representations of urban crises, and to the questioning of the notion of ‘disruption’ in an artistic and cultural context. The conference is convened by Elsa Cavalie and Justine Gonneaud (MCF ALL/ICTT).
