Withdrawal of diploma
The request for withdrawal of diploma must be made to the schooling service.
This request must be accompanied by the receipt of deposit of the thesis delivered to the PhD student by the ED if the manuscript (after eventual corrections) has been sent to him.

Distribution of the thesis
Three months after the defense, the thesis manuscript is sent to the University Library (BU) for electronic distribution of the thesis on the STAR application of the ABES (Bibliographic Agency for Higher Education, responsible for the deposit, conservation and distribution of theses).
A period of restriction of diffusion can be requested (4 years maximum). The thesis will then only be available for consultation at the BU during this period.

Doctoral graduation ceremony
The first Avignon University doctoral ceremony was held on Friday, January 10, 2020. It concerned the PhDs who defended in 2018 and 2019.
We look forward to seeing you in January 2022 for the second ceremony which will celebrate the PhDs who have defended in 2020 and 2021.
