Research Partners

The scientific policy of Avignon University is based on the development of academic and socio-economic partnerships, in particular with INRA and CNRS on the Agro&Sciences axis, and with CNRS and EHESS on the Culture, Heritage, Digital Societies axis. These institutional partnerships have been concretized by the signature, on February 1st 2015, of a framework agreement associating Avignon University, the CNRS, the INRA and the EHESS, which commits the co-signatories to the priorities of the scientific project of Avignon University.

Avignon University is also involved, at the highest level, in various structures at the interface of research, training and industry: it sits on the boards of the SATT Sud-Est, the national thematic incubator "Belle de Mai", the regional incubator "Impulse", the business incubator "Creativa", the competitiveness clusters "Terralia" and "PASS", the "Cultural and Heritage Industries" cluster, the PRIMI cluster (creative industries and digital creation), the development agency ADEV (economic development of the Vaucluse).

This active partnership policy has contributed to the dynamism of industrial partnerships, which have developed strongly in recent years and are one of the institution's priorities for the coming years.
