Research Investment Program
Research mobilizes infrastructures and instruments which may require heavy investments, and which must meet the strategic objectives of Avignon University (AU). These investments can be multiannual and should be included in the multiannual research investment program of the institution. This call for projects invites the research units under the supervision of AU to formulate their investment needs and to contextualize them with regard to:
- The scientific project of the unit,
- The scientific project of the institution,
- The unit's capacity to host these instruments (technical and human environment)
- The means to be mobilized to ensure a good return on investment
- The potential for mutualisation with other research units in the institution if relevant
Applications will be processed by the Research Commission of the Academic Council during its monthly meetings.
Research Operations
Medium and long-term research programs developed in research laboratories can be implemented through a series of collaborative projects of varying nature and duration. The diversity of these projects, of their financing modalities, of their timetables, limits the capacity of the scientific leaders to structure and plan all the research activities linked to the program.Avignon University wishes to offer the institution's teacher-researchers a framework that allows them to group together a set of projects in a multi-year research operation, built around a coherent scientific program that can be fed by several contracted collaborations.
