Gap year
The decree of 18 May 2018 on the temporary suspension of studies in public establishments providing initial higher education training sets out the procedures for the conduct of this period of suspension of studies known as the "gap year".
The gap year is an optional period that extends over a maximum of one academic year during which the student, enrolled in an initial higher education course, temporarily and voluntarily suspends it with the aim of gaining personal or professional experience, in France or abroad.
If you wish to benefit from this system, you must read the university's charter concerning the gap year and then follow the procedure indicated.
