University Ambassadors

What is an ambassador ?

At Avignon University, the ambassadors are a group of voluntary students from bachelor, master, doctorate, who act as bearers of the image and values of the University. They come from all departments and have different backgrounds and experiences that they aim to share.

The ambassadors participate in many activities during the academic year. They can inform future students, offer guided tours or act as representatives of the university at events related to the socio-economic or cultural world, or with the university's graduates. They can give talks to high school students and take part in the university community's gathering activities.

The Charter of the "Ambassadors" of Avignon University

Article 1: To do everything possible to succeed in my university studies,
Article 2: To behave in an exemplary manner in all circumstances, at the university and outside its walls,
Article 3: To show solidarity with the members of Avignon University community,
Article 4: To participate in the development of the feeling of belonging to the University of Avignon and Pays de Vaucluse: wearing the ambassadors' outfit every Tuesday and on university match days can contribute to this.
Article 5: To develop the partnerships of the University of Avignon and Pays de Vaucluse accompanied by the University Foundation and Sport Campus Avignon,
Article 6: To contribute to the attractiveness of the University by associating myself with the university system in the direction of the high schools of the Vaucluse and surrounding areas, as far as I am able,
Article 7: Sustainable development being a permanent concern of the University of Avignon and Pays de Vaucluse, I commit myself to respect all the actions implemented on these aspects by the University,
Article 8: To promote accessibility to the University for everyone in its diversity and for all generations,
Article 9: To participate in the evolution of this ambassadors' charter with the whole university community
