Student Preventive Medicine
At the University Preventive Medicine and Health Promotion Service, two doctors and a nurse are available to answer any questions or problems relating to your state of health or having an effect on it.
They also offer free medical consultations, prevention advice, issue various medical certificates (fitness for sports, work, etc.) and check vaccinations.

CROUS social service
The social service of the CROUS Aix-Marseille-Avignon has the mission to help students to integrate in the best way in their studies and to apprehend in the best conditions the learning of their autonomy.
The social workers are subject to professional secrecy. They are in charge of taking into account all social problems (economic, family, health, orientation) that students may encounter.

- Visits on the Hannah Arendt campus, Monday to Friday (mornings from 9am to 12.30pm) and on the Jean-Henri Fabre campus on Thursdays from 9am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 4pm.
Avignon Health Examination Centre of the CPAM
The Health Examination Centre of Avignon of the CPAM can carry out, by appointment and without advance payment, blood tests, ECG, visual, auditory and spirometric tests, preventive medical examinations and offer dietary follow-up.
On-call pharmacy (Night and Sunday)
For the night from 7:30 pm to 8:30 am and for Sunday, there is only one pharmacy on duty for Avignon and Montfavet. This pharmacy changes every day.
During the week between 7:30 pm and 10 pm and on Sundays between 8:30 am and 7:30 pm, dial 17, the police station will tell you which pharmacy is on duty.

- Your carte vitale is your social security card. It proves your rights to health insurance. Remember to update it at least once a year;
- You must choose and declare an attending physician. From the age of 16, without a regular doctor, you will be reimbursed less;
- As a student, you benefit from an insurance for work-related accidents and illnesses (AT-MP) which covers you during your courses in workshops or laboratories
and internships (under certain conditions);
- You are a foreign student and you will start your studies in 2020: you must register on www.etuditant-etranger.ameli.fr

To complete the reimbursements of the social security, if you do not meet the conditions of the complementary universal health coverage (CMU),
you can benefit, subject to meeting the means test, from assistance to finance a complementary health insurance: the payment assistance.
