Creating and funding an association

Creating a student association

Student associations requesting funding from the University, a domicile at the University, or the use of premises, must first contact the Campus Life Office who will help them to prepare and implement their application (04 90 16 25 77).

1/ Statutes and domiciliation

After filing the statutes with the Prefecture, each association must submit the project for the creation of an association to the President of the University for authorization to be domiciled at the University, after having validated the project with the House of Culture and Campus Life. This request will then be submitted to the CAC and the President of the University for approval. There is an obligation to subscribe to the Charter of Associations.

It will be necessary to submit a copy of the statutes to the campus life office, as well as the receipt and the number of the declaration at the Prefecture.

Call for CVEC projects of the CROUS

This call for projects of the Crous d'Aix-Marseille Avignon is aimed at student associations. It aims to promote initiatives to improve campus life in the Aix-Marseille Academy (departments 13, 84, 04 and 05).
  • For grant requests ≤ 2 000 €: the study of projects is done on an ongoing basis;
  • For grant requests > 2 000 €: the study is done 4 times a year by the CVEC commission. The next one will take place on 15 February 2021;
  • For student associations, the amount of the advance is increased to 70% for grant applications up to 5 000 €.

The actions supported by the Crous will primarily benefit students enrolled in institutions that do not receive a CVEC payment, where there are generally few student life actions, and students whose place of study is far from the major urban and university centres. However, the associations of students registered in a beneficiary institution may propose projects, provided that they are intended also for students outside their institution.

Before sending your application you must make an appointment with the House of Culture and Campus Life of the university.
The file must then be sent by email to the CROUS services at: cve@crous-aix-marseille.fr
